iWALK2.0 Helps Heather Tackle CRPS
In November of 2003, Heather suffered from a ruptured tendon in her ankle. After five months in several different casts and failed rehabilitation programs, she was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, also known as CRPS or RSD. CRPS results from a malfunction of the central and peripheral nervous system in response to tissue damage. These nerves continuously misfire, causing sometimes severe chronic pain to the affected area.

Heather spent the next three years on crutches. She hated that her normal independent lifestyle was drastically altered by her lack of mobility. She finally searched for an alternative and found the iWALK2.0 one year ago. It changed her life immediately! She regained her independence and is even able to play hockey with her nephew. iWALK2.0 gave Heather her life back!
